April 8, 2018---Dow Dance returns to the Links Hall stage presenting their second choreography showcase; "Endowed Movement". Choreographers showing work include: Tiffany Dow, Melissa Lobes and special guest company CERQUA RIVERA DANCE THEATRE (CRDT), to name a few. *Additional selected choreographers TBA.

DOW DANCE promotes emerging choreographers and dancers through their seasonal "Endowed Movement" showcases.
Tiffany Dow
Dow Dance Founder, Artistic Director

Tiffany grew up dancing in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and earned her first professional credit as a kid dancing on WGN’s The Bozo Show. She graduated from Kutztown University where she was a principle dancer in the university’s resident dance company; Performing Dance Portmanteau (PDP) and earned her BA in Theatre & Dance. She continued to study dance in NY, LA and Philadelphia. While in Philly, Tiffany was featured in Charles Tyson’s company; Underground DanceWorks while also studying under Roni Koresh, Melissa Rector, Eric Bean and Samuel Reyes. It was in Philadelphia where Tiffany produced and choreographed her first show Bang! Zoom! Pow! A Story of Broken Borders in the Philly Fringe Festival. Upon returning to Chicago, Tiffany has been active in the dance community by chairing the Associate Board of Giordano Dance Chicago for two years and volunteering as a dance teacher at the Boys & Girls Clubs. Tiffany has showcased her choreography in DanceWorks Chicago’s Dance Chance at Hubbard Street Dance Center. Inspired by vulnerability and risk, Tiffany is committed to providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work and thrilled to have launched her company Dow Dance and the Endowed Movement choreography series.
Melissa Lobes
Melissa Lobes received her BFA in choreography from Columbia College Chicago. She has performed pieces by Margi Cole, Pam McNeil, Peter Carpenter & Lisa Gonzales. Melissa performed in Onye Ozuzu's "Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" project at the Pritzker Pavilion. She also teaches and choreographs at Deforest Dance Academy, Pro Dance Elite, Turning Pointe Dance Academy, Centerstage Dance Company, Haja Dance Academy and Xtreme Dance Center. She is also currently a Co-Director at Dance Xplosion for their award winning competitive dance team.
Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre
Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre fuses music, dance, and visual art to explore and celebrate contemporary American society. Its professional Dance and Music Ensembles collaborate with one another, with visual artists and designers, and with the people and places of Chicago. The company’s multi-disciplinary performance work is theatrical and thoughtful, vivacious and exuberant.
