Daniel Druckman & Jamie Jordan
Daniel Druckman & Jamie Jordan
Percussionist Daniel Druckman and soprano Jamie Jordan are committed to performing chamber music of the 20th/21st centuries. The couple has embarked on a commissioning project which will generate repertoire from their favorite living composers. These new works will be performed throughout the country alongside masterpieces by Luciano Berio, George Crumb and Jacob Druckman, amongst others. The premiere performances of John Liberatore's Had they remained at Notre Dame (IN) and Constellation (IL) mark the inaugural concerts of this project.

with special guest John Liberatore, piano and glass harmonica

John Liberatore - Had they remained for voice, percussion and glass harmonica
Lei Liang - Lakescape for piano, percussion and voice
Richard Wernick - Prayer for Jerusalem for mezzo-soprano and percussion
Henri Pousseur - Phonemes pour Cathy per voce sola
Phillipe Manoury - Vibraphone Solo from Les livres des claviers

"Jamie Jordan... masterfully carves her way through these challenging compositions with assertive elegance and controlled musical nuance." - Marcus Reddick, Percussive Arts Society Notes

"Druckman was completely committed, assured, and sympathetic to the composer’s ideas. The music seemed like it would never end in the best way." - George Grella, New York Classical Review
