Chandeliers have been making artful yet accessible kaleidoscopic eletronic music for 12 years, putting a twist on avant-garde, electronic, and film music influeneces. Utilizing a plethora of analog synthesizers, organs, samplers, and tradition percussion they create electonic music with the dynamic of an ensemble and a more defined organic feel. A brand new full-length "Law of Fives" is due October 2017 on the freshly minted Potions Music NYC imprint.

Chris Kalis: synthesizers, sampler
Scott McGaughey: synthesizers
Harry Brenner: drums, synthesizer

"The melange of references range from disco to Acid; from Herbie Hancock to House; the colour of psychedelia to the groove of Moroder, all united by a cleaner than clean electronic sound. It’s music for a perfect world, the soundtrack for a club where the dawn never comes and the lights are never turned on." --THE WIRE

Dave McDonnell’s 5th world is the composer/reedist’s newest project, which reflects his preoccupation with loop based computer music, Non-Western rhythms and live signal processing. For this performance he’ll be joined by drummer Qunlian Kirchner.

David McDonnell: Computer, Soprano Saxophone and Contra Alto Clarinet

Quinlan Kirchner: Drums

“McDonnell has become immersed in electronic music…the three movements of his piece, Æpse - on which computer sounds mesh beautifully with meditative then turbulent arco lines from cellist Tomeka Reid…”
