Cream Co. is a Chicago-based collective, formed in 1997. Today, we are five artists bound together by a belief that art works when one wonders. Cream Co.'s interactive installations, paintings, plants and finely-crafted, multi-purpose furniture pieces, reflect the group's shared and practiced optimism and belief in human generosity.

Simon JW Briggs received his BFA in sound art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has presented work in numerous venues, including broadcasting on internet radio, Links Hall, Maryland Fields Festival, Tritriangle, Ballroom Projects, St Louis's Duet Gallery. Chih-Hsien (Jo-an) Lin
"Chih-Hsien Lin (also known as Jo-an)
Chih-Hsien Lin, originally from Taiwan, is a mover, choreographer, movement educator, and an R-DMT (registered dance/movement therapist). She is currently working with Khecari for their new project, The Cronus Land; her third project with Julia and Jonathan. She is also completing Movement Pattern Analysis Certificate (MPAC) from Columbia College Chicago. Taught at the University of Iowa, ACDFA, Cornell College, and several other venues, Chih-Hsien has been involved in Taiwanese folk/ethnic dance, improv, and modern productions worldwide. Recent years at Links Hall, Dance Center, Hamlin Park, and MCA, working with a variety of artists in and around Chicago including The Inconvenience, CMC, Mid-to-West Production, Ben Law, Nana Shineflug, Kristina Fluty, Michel Rodriguez, Jennifer Kyle, Sarah Gottlieb, and Jason Hancock. Chih-Hsien works during the day as a dance/movement therapist at Bethany Retirement Community with Dementia elderly; her emotional attunement, empathic embodiment, and kinesthetic moving become useful channels to help dementia people to find stability and possibility in late year living. Overall, the authenticity and naturalness largely drives Chih-Hsien in her day-to-day life.

Ben Law
Ben Law is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais TeacherĀ®, ensemble member of Molly Shanahan/Mad Shak, Kate Corby & Dancers, and CDI/Concert Dance Inc., and adjunct lecturer at Northeastern Illinois University. He has previously worked with Lucky Plush Productions, Mordine & Company Dance Theater, Julia Rae Antonick/Khecari, Hedwig Dances, and the Dance COLEctive. Ben teaches contemporary modern dance in combination with the Feldenkrais MethodĀ® in studios, high schools, and Universities in the Chicago area, has taught Feldenkrais and lectured on kinesiology for the American College Dance Festival, and has a private Feldenkrais practice.

Sarah Gottlieb
Sarah Gottlieb is an independent dance artist whose work layers contemporary movement with improvisation, somatic practice and activism. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Sarah examines the interplay of biological systems and consciousness. Since 2010 Sarah studied closely under the mentorship of Nana Shineflug, and includes the principles of The Conscious Body in her own movement pedagogy. Certified as a Laban Movement Analyst, by Integrated Movement Studies in 2014, Sarah is also fascinated by developmental movement patterns and concepts such as inner characters and the spatial matrix. Her choreographic productions have been supported by DCASE's IAP award, Links Hall's Creative Time Sponsorship, 3-Arts and other organizations. An avid Contact Improviser, Sarah is a core member of the Chicago Contact Improv Collective and the current Artistic Director of GLACIER. She regularly facilitates the Chicago CI Jam, and has been a guest teacher at universities and festivals across the US including the West Coast Contact Improv Jam."
